Reservation Policy Notes

  • Reserved category seats not filled by eligible reserved candidates will be converted to UR seats after counselling rounds, as per WBBPE/state norms.
  • PwD (2%) and Ex-Serviceman (3%) reservations are horizontal — i.e., candidates are adjusted within their own vertical category.
  • OBC-A and OBC-B certificates must be issued by the competent authority in West Bengal.
  • NRI / Management quota seats are not applicable — all seats are filled through WBBPE centralised counselling only.
